Excuse the stream of consciousness. Actually no, I will not ask anybody to fucking excuse my consciousness. It's mine and I claim it and I am going to use it to observe this fucking world as much as it fucking hurts. And I am going to scream about it.
I'm coping with the worst air quality I've seen in my life due to wildfires far up north that are bad enough to blow smoke all the way down here. And yet the worst part of my day, what made it hardest to breathe, came from the south. I saw photographs of white people posing with amusement next to a sign saying "ALLIGATOR ALCATRAZ" because they find it Fucking Funny that people are going to be LITERALLY PUT IN CONCENTRATION CAMPS but it must be fine because it's America and pew pew pew freedom MAGA. It's both what they're going along with out of denial and what they've wanted all along, because what they've wanted all along is to be on the winning side, and if they don't like the winning side then, well, it can't be really as bas as they say it is, can it?
Yes it can. Yes it is. YES IT IS. And if you want to don't want to own up to actively wanting to see fascism slaughter millions of human beings immediately around you then say something!! Say something ABOUT IT. Say something that MEANS SOMETHING. Shout out what's happening. SAY IT OUT LOUD. SAY SOMETHING.

I feel a need to scream and scream and scream just to put it on record like trauma in the tree rings when our era gets dissected decades after the damage is done.
